About the Role

• Guide and coach Scrum teams to be self-organised, cross-functional, and value-focused.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and teams to manage backlogs and ensure smooth delivery.
• Proactively identify and remove roadblocks, creating structure in dynamic environments.
• Work closely with the Program and Project Manager to deliver the highest value and create business and customer benefits.

Duties

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will:

• Drive Scrum processes and coach teams to be self-organised and cross-functional.
• Track progress, manage backlogs, and address task deviations with Product Owners.
• Identify and remove organisational barriers to keep teams focused on delivery.
• Foster close alignment between Product Owners, stakeholders, and Scrum teams.
• Guide development teams to deliver impactful solutions efficiently.
• Run daily, weekly, and monthly Agile ceremonies smoothly.
• Support teams in adhering to Agile and Project principles and practices.
• Equip teams with skills to meet future challenges through mentoring and training.
• Manage dependencies and collaborate with senior leaders and Technical Delivery Managers.
• Take ownership, manage risks, and create structure in dynamic environments.

Skills & Experience

• Comprehensive understanding agile / waterfall / hybrid project management methodologies.
• Extensive experience working with Scrum/Kanban.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in the process re-engineering and in leading business transformation, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

Highly Desirable Experience with:

• Cyber
• Security
• Worked in a Hybrid environment before (understands the challenges that come with that)
• Comfortable with PM space/ways of working
• SAFe./Product Led ways of working.
