I am Irish born and have been working within recruitment in Australia since 2007.  

I have primarily always recruited within the Insurance industry; and it has been an area I have genuinely enjoyed working in. I feel quite lucky as I get to meet and work with some amazing people who want to make a difference and impact through the work they do.  

I joined the icare team in September 2021 and I really enjoy my role here.  My stakeholders (your potential reporting managers) have a tremendous passion for their team and the work they do; which strikes a real chord with me.

As a seasoned Manager of Talent Attraction, I effectively lead, inspire, and develop a team of Talent Advisors dedicated to fostering strong relationships with business leaders and comprehensively understanding their hiring requirements.

With over a decade of recruitment experience across the UK and Australia, I have had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse array of professionals from various sectors. I hold a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics from King's College London, which ignited my passion for people and diversity.

I have been in the wonderful world of recruitment since 2008. Starting with Randstad in the UK, I worked on key accounts in Government, Medical and life sciences.

In 2012 I moved to Australia with Randstad where he continued to work for 3 years before transitioning to RPO, leading Coles for NSW/ACT and later Honeywell (Pacific region) recruitment. From 2019 and through Covid I managed client delivery teams for the recruitment software business Springboard with a focus on transformation.

After a post covid career break I spent some time in start up land leading complex recruitment solution sales and implementation for an international healthcare organisation focused on aged care, before joining Harrier and iCare in September 2024.

With over a decade of dedicated experience in Human Resources and Recruitment, I have honed my expertise across a diverse range of industries, including FMCG, Transport, Manufacturing, and Telecommunications in Australia and New Zealand. Since transitioning into recruitment in early 2012, I have consistently leveraged my HR background to deliver exceptional talent solutions and candidate experience.

My journey at icare started in August 2024, and I am excited to transition into supporting recruitment for the Finance and People & Culture (P&C) portfolios. In this new role, I specialise in sourcing top talent for Finance Business Partnering, Actuarial, Strategic Delivery, and P&C roles. As a certified Hogan practitioner, I bring a comprehensive approach to candidate evaluation, ensuring that technical skills align with cultural fit and organisational values.

I joined the Talent team at icare as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in 2022.

I have a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and bring along over 14 years of local work experience across a range of functions including recruitment, stakeholder management, sales, administration, HR coordination and compliance. 

Being a people’s person I am very keen to upskill my knowledge and build long-term relationships with business stakeholders through my role at icare and thus fulfil my goal to help and serve the NSW community which is also the purpose of icare.
