About the Role

The Provider Enablement Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of the forward strategic roadmap for providers; both Claims Service and Third Party Service providers. Relationship establishment and being able to understand and clearly articulate the needs and demands of a panel of providers is the most critical portion of this role.

Evidenced experience in co-ordination and use of enabling services to execute improvement or uplift initiatives is required in this role as not all deliverables are expected to be produced in team.

This role will work alongside a demand management process, so any provider engaged in a service contract with icare is engaged in a consistent manner and that the totality of change and effort required (outside of key contractual activity) is understood, prioritised, and managed. Being successful in this role would mean icare and Claims Service Providers understand current priorities and the path to (joint) delivery of the best outcome for Those we Serve, and the scheme.

Benefits

  • A corporate wellbeing program with subsidised gym membership, free flu vaccinations and health check programs
  • Comprehensive learning and development support aligned to icare’s Core Capabilities.
  • Our People Awards - On-the-spot Recognition, Quarterly Values Awards & Our People Annual Awards
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program

Duties

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as an Provider Strategy and Enablement Manager you will:

  • Work across multiple provider functions by considering and adapting to impacts within icare, Third Party, Claims, and non-contracted provider space(s).
  • Regularly communicate with all key stakeholders to ensure that objectives are achieved.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team to work productively and collaboratively to achieve business requirements, corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Translate issues, challenges, or insights into clearly and measurable initiatives, and work across the Workers Compensation business to ensure objectives associated with each initiative are achieved.
  • Work alongside the demand management process and reporting to ensure providers icare engages for service contracts (i.e. Claims Service Providers) have sufficient time, consultation, and a clearly understood roadmap to deliver on service commitments.
  • Track and manage value delivered to show tangible uplift in cost, service, liability, or scheme performance (non-financial) measures from initiatives.
  • Liaise with General Managers, working groups, and steering committee members on prioritisation and delivery issues.
  • Manage forums to present analysis and informed options to seek strategic direction where a decision is not within role dimensions.
  • Manage and report on innovation deliverables to ensure benefits are realised, reporting is delivered and smooth delivery for all stakeholders.
  • Ensure timelines for all initiatives are in place and communicated across the Strategic Partnering and Performance leadership team.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience and understanding of the NSW Workers Compensation scheme.
  • Extensive experience leading change and effort prioritisation across an (external) provider panel.
  • Tertiary level qualifications at degree level in business management or related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience acquired through extensive experience.
  • Highly developed collaborative and partnering approach to stakeholder management and change management.
  • Qualification in Program Management (MSP).
