Provide strategic leadership of icare’s supplier and contract portfolio, strengthening commercial performance, enhancing sustainability, and upholding NSW Government compliance.

Duties 

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as the Head of Supplier Excellence, you will: 

• Lead contract management for key categories (ICT, Corporate, Goods & Services). 

• Set reporting standards and embed processes for managing strategic suppliers. 

• Build capability and lead a high-performing contract management team. 

• Advise senior leaders on commercial strategy, risk, and supplier performance. 

• Align enterprise delivery and governance for strategic suppliers. 

• Establish supplier governance, performance baselines and reporting frameworks. 

• Report supplier performance, risks and opportunities to key committees. 

• Proactively identify and mitigate contract, financial, operational and reputational risks. 

• Lead resolution of disputes and complex performance issues.

• Build sector relationships across NSW Government and industry. 

Skills & Experience  

• Strong leadership experience within procurement or contract management. 

• Expertise in strategic supplier management and performance frameworks. 

• Proven ability to uplift capability and lead high-performing teams. 

• Strong stakeholder management across finance, legal and operational teams. 

• Knowledge of NSW Government procurement frameworks (desirable).
