About the Role
To support the General Manager of Financial Performance & Analysis on providing clear and concise advice to the CEO, CFO, Group Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team on icare’s performance – including the performance of the respective schemes.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as Head of Performance, Finance you will:
• Provide clear insights across areas of performance including customer outcomes and experience, financial performance, and performance of the market that icare schemes operate in, and across icare’s performance as an organisation.
• Understand the links between key projects, the benefits these projects are looking to obtain, and the impact that these projects will have on performance, in order to assist with key business decisions.
• Identify gaps and overlaps in project initiatives aimed at improving performance.
• Provide clear information packs on performance that can be used across a number of different forums including Quarterly Performance Reviews, the Statement of Business Intent, and other Scheme reporting.
• Build close relationships with the key General Managers and Business Analysts within each of the Schemes to draw together information (upwards of 50 people), work on how best to glean insights and target work to improve performance.
• Build close relationships with the key stakeholders in actuarial and FP&A to better bring together insights.
• Identify new areas of analysis required to better understand performance and trends.
Skills & Experience
• Relevant professional qualifications
• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to bring together disparate data sources into coherent analysis and link that with business context
• Leadership experience
• Experience in reporting on performance across an organisation, including identifying risks and opportunities to improve performance
• Strong relationship management and communication skills, especially with executives
• Ability to coordinate and manage activities across different teams
