The opportunity:

Seeking a procurement specialist for this integral and highly visible role within icare, reporting into our Head of ICT Procurement

  • Permanent full-time position & flexible working arrangements
  • Modern spacious offices in prime Sydney-CBD location with a view, close to Wynyard & Barangaroo
  • Salary from $125k package plus other benefits on offer, as listed below

It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same, but on a typical day you might find yourself:

  • Developing and implementing category management plans and strategies to deliver value and quality.
  • Applying your extensive knowledge across a range of categories, to establish supply arrangements that deliver optimal outcomes for icare as a business.
  • Supporting contract managers across icare to lead supplier performance management and compliance requirements through effective supplier relationships.
  • Planning and leading contract negotiations in the establishment and review of supply arrangements to deliver value in assigned categories.

Your story so far:

  • Recent experience in a procurement role applying contemporary procurement best practice.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex procurement activities through robust probity, procurement and contract frameworks, and successfully delivering contractual obligations.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, build engagement and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to effectively manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
