The opportunity:

This role supports the use and maintenance of financial systems across icare ensuring that the systems are available and stable and underpinned by strong governance and system standards.

This is an exciting opportunity where no two days are the same, but on a typical day you will:

  • Provide support and guidance to S4 Hana Finance systems users and projects which impact the S4 Hana Finance system ensuring that matters are promptly addressed.
  • Review and approve the set-up of vendor and customer master data in icare’s SAP Financial systems.
  • Run daily system health checks and provide support for the interfaces between policy systems and the S4 Hana Finance system ensuring any failures and/or mapping issues are promptly addressed.
  • Investigate and propose solutions for minor changes and enhancements requested by users. Manage this process from inception to solution including updating Financial systems documentation. 
  • Maintenance of general ledger master data in accordance with instructions and approvals provided by the SAP Practice Operations Manager and other icare managers who are designated approvers.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks including but not limited to resolution of Purchase Requisition workflow issues, and month end tasks.

Your story so far:

  • Experience in a similar role supporting Financial Systems in the finance or insurance industry.
  • Previous experience of the SAP S4 HANA version 1809 and above in a support role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, and/or an accounting background preferred.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with strong focus on customer needs.
