The opportunity:

Support the use and maintenance of the S4 HANA Finance system and the Sun Financials suite across the icare organisation ensuring that the systems are available and stable and underpinned by strong governance and system standards.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same as SAP Practice System Support Lead you will:

  • Provide support and guidance to S4 HANA Finance systems and SUN Financials users and to projects which impact these ERP systems ensuring that matters are promptly addressed.
  • Investigate and propose solutions for minor changes and enhancements requested by users. Manage this process from inception to solution including updating Financial systems documentation. 
  • Provide support for the interfaces between policy systems and the Finance systems (Sun and SAP) ensuring any failures and/or mapping issues are promptly addressed.
  • Perform month end tasks including ledger close activities, extraction and balancing of financial data, support of monthly cost allocations/assessments and other tasks as assigned
  • Run daily system health checks and provide support for the interfaces between policy systems and the S4 Hana Finance system ensuring any failures and/or mapping issues are promptly addressed
  • Maintenance of general ledger master data in accordance with instructions and approvals provided by the SAP Practice Operations Manager and other icare managers who are designated approvers
  • Manage the chart of accounts, cost centre and internal orders master data and distribute fortnightly
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks including but not limited to resolution of Purchase Requisition workflow issues

Your story so far:

  • Experience in Financial Systems in the financial services or insurance industry
  • Expertise of the SAP S4 HANA version 1809 and above in a support role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, and/or an accounting background preferred
  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience of SUN System version 6.3 in a support role
