The opportunity:

Support the implementation of the icare Risk Management Framework and support the facilitation of effective risk management by stakeholders within the Workers Compensation function.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Risk & Compliance Support Officer you will:

  • Assist as part of a team in the design and execution of the team’s strategy.
  • Provide support to the team with the maintenance of a Risk Profile for the Workers Compensation function.
  • As guided by the team leader, support the execution of a range of risk, control, quality, conduct, compliance reviews across icare.
  • Support the team’s reporting, communication and engagement needs, design and delivery of projects, and co-ordination of risk, assurance and compliance activities.
  • Provide a range of support to the Risk and Compliance team members in a variety of other tasks as required, to ensure the business outcomes are achieved.
  • Promote and encourage a positive risk culture.

Your story so far:

  • Experience in/or exposure to risk or compliance management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in problem solving and implementing solutions.
  • Understanding of workers compensation insurance, a plus.
