The opportunity:

Provide co-ordination and support to the Program Manager to plan, manage and report on the successful delivery of program / project outcomes and benefits for our customers.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Program Specialist/Project Coordinator you will:

  • Lead and/or co-ordinate the reporting and meeting activities and requirements to ensure accurate source of truth of the project’s progress against scope, cost and milestones / deliverables.
  • Create effective relationships with key stakeholders (external and internal) and influence them to progress on tasks required for the successfully delivery of programs and projects.
  • Co-ordinate change and communication activities with key stakeholders including steering committees.
  • Maintain and co-ordinate the resolution of the program’s risks, issues, dependencies and interdependencies.
  • Co-ordinate post project implementation reviews and ensure all project artefacts and learnings are captured.
  • Support the design, development and delivery of fit-for-purpose, best practice governance processes and procedures.

Your story so far:

  • Experience as a project manager/coordinator of multi-disciplinary initiatives
  • Competency in Microsoft applications
  • Qualification or experience in Project Management (Prince2, PMBOK)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
