Practice Lead – Business Analysts

The opportunity:

The Business Analyst Practice Lead will build, lead, and motivate a team of enterprise project business analysts and be responsible for the quality of the analytical services delivered through the Practice; ensuring that the team have the right skills, capabilities, and tools to deliver icare’s strategic initiatives, driving delivery excellence and productivity gains

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Practice Lead – Business Analysts you will:

  • Coordinate staff schedules and demand supply of resources to align with project and business delivery objectives, including engagement with resource vendors.
  • Ensure delivery frameworks and methods (methodologies, tooling and delivery capability) are aligned to icare’s quality standards and consistently adopted across all projects.
  • Lead, develop and manage team on performance and output; coaching and mentoring direct reports.
  • Develop processes and standards to improve the quality and timeliness of requirement specification development.

Your story so far:

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges Ability to manage high level relationships, influence senior stakeholders and have excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience attracting new talent, developing team capabilities, and performing people management responsibilities.
  • Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management.
  • In-depth understanding of project management principles (traditional and agile).
  • Ability to manage complexity (e.g. managing remote teams and multiple stakeholders).
  • Solid financial acumen.
  • Solid people management skills including motivation, relationships, interpersonal skills, coaching and conflict resolution.
  • Awareness and understanding of multiple technologies.
