The opportunity:

We have a very exciting opportunity to welcome a new People & Culture Partner to the icare team. This role is a strategic HR Partnering role, building relationships with senior leaders and executives to support them in building and executing their people strategies. In the role you will be relied upon to provide respected HR advice, oversee employee relations case management and implement strategic people plans.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same: as a People & Culture Partner you will:

  • Lead HR activities and implementation including leadership development, engagement and culture initiatives, talent and succession management; performance and development planning and review; people and workforce planning; and other strategic and operational HR activities and solutions.
  • Partner with senior leaders and teams at all levels to coach and develop their performance and capability.
  • Exercise influence for outcomes and provide accurate, timely and commercial HR advice.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to draw on HR solutions and advice from subject matter experts and present this to the business in a pragmatic, implementable format
  • Drive a culture of performance, continuous learning and accountability with leaders by proactively instigating monitoring and reviews of probation, performance, leadership capability and putting in place coaching and plans to increase workforce capability and performance

Your story so far:

  • Tertiary level qualifications at degree level or higher in HR, business, psychology or equivalent
  • Background in Financial Services would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and teams at the functional and/or organisational level
  • Demonstrated experience in executing successful people and change initiatives
  • Proven capabilities in analysing and interpreting reporting and metrics to draw insights and conclusions
  • Ability to apply problem solving and judgement to recommend and implement decisions.
  • Superior communications and presentation skills; both verbal and written
