The opportunity:

Support the planning, monitoring and delivery of employee lifecycle activities, in particular the status of live recruitment, onboarding, probation periods, contract end dates and terminations.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a People & Culture Advisor you will:

  • Be available and accountable to respond to frontline HR queries, providing HR advice, policy interpretation, and guiding employees and leaders through HR processes or towards self-service.
  • Act as a conduit between the HR Shared Services team and HR Business Partners, resolving general advice queries and taking accountability to seeking further HR advice to resolve complex matters.
  • Manage end to end ER cases, in partnership with the P&C Partnership/ER team, including performance management, misconduct, grievances and investigations. This will include advising and coaching managers and team leaders on the best practice process, facilitating discussions and providing tools, such as scripts, to leaders
  • Exercise patience, positivity and integrity by listening to employees and supporting their query in a professional and confidential manner, exercising influencing skills as required.
  • Provide support to the Head of P&C on P&C initiatives and project delivery, such a talent management, executive recruitment and op model change management.

Your story so far:

  • Tertiary level qualifications at degree level or higher in HR, business, psychology or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Human Resources function in a business facing role would be advantageous
  • Ability to apply problem solving and judgement to recommend and implement decisions.
  • Superior communications and presentation skills; both verbal and written
