The opportunity:

Provide operational support and guidance to the Medical Support Panel (MSP) members and be responsible for leading and implementing the administrative systems and procedures.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Senior Medical Support Panel Coordinator you will:

  • Provide support and guidance to the MSP Coordinators in their day to day work, responding to issues which may emerge.
  • Liaise with and influence relevant stakeholders, including Claim Service Providers, medical specialists and team members to ensure that they support the activities of the MSP
  • Undertake quality assurance checks on panel referrals and coordinate the process of gaining additional information required from Claim Service Providers
  • Oversee and provide guidance on triaging of referrals to medical specialists
  • Manage and oversee particular aspects of MSP activities, including rostering, monitoring panel outcomes, resources, and developing and implementing procedures
  • Provide technical advice to team members and Claim Service Providers in relation to MSP referrals
  • Support the delivery and development of training to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide updates to the Operations team on the effectiveness of new initiatives

Your story so far:

  • A broad range of experience in leading administrative and support activities
  • Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to create appropriate and engaging presentations and documentation
  • Demonstrated attention to detail combined with the ability to think analytically
  • Time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Experience in NSW Workers Compensation scheme and customer service
