The opportunity:

In this role, you will lead a team that performs performance analysis, analytics and identify insights to inform the determination of benchmarks, baselines and targets that align customer service delivery with outcome objectives.

It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same, but on a typical day you will:

  • Establish the insights function within IfNSW & HBCF, partnering with the respective schemes to deliver actionable insights that enhance decision making.
  • Lead the development and delivery of insurance scheme, provider performance monitoring tools and operational reports which use an effective project management approach.
  • Design, develop and enhance IfNSW business intelligence dashboards, monitoring tools and performance reports.
  • Prepare and deliver the monthly CEO report and the Quarterly Performance Report (QPR) for the IfNSW & HBCF schemes.
  • Analyse data and identify trends of emerging issues and opportunities, and where required liaise with relevant stakeholders to obtain further information to support and enable the analysis and quantification of potential impacts on an on-going basis.
  • Develop and implement the tools and methodology for monitoring and measuring specific performance (e.g. Agent performance) against defined standards.

Your story so far:

  • Extensive experience identifying and building out insights from data and presenting that information in various formats to positively influence business decisions and outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in reporting data and analytics up to senior executive levels of an organisation, well-versed in reporting methodologies and technologies.
  • Current/recent experience in financial services or the insurance industry.
  • Highly developed communication, presentation, collaboration and negotiation skills, with the capacity to exercise sound judgement, equity and fairness.
  • Strong people leadership skills and experience.
