The opportunity:

As Compliance Advisor, you will report into icare’s Manager Enterprise Compliance and work collaboratively to ensure icare meets its legal regulatory and internal policy obligations and assist in the development and implementation of the Compliance Management System.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Compliance Advisor you will:

  • Partner with insurance, care and enabling service lines and undertake research to identify the laws, regulations, external requirements and internal policies impacting icare
  • Act as an information source to the business to anticipate regulatory requirements and to support an accurate interpretation and application of new regulations
  • Provide timely and accurate regulatory advice relating to the obligations register, which identifies the obligation owners, defines the obligation and describes its impact on icare
  • Conduct 2nd LOD monitoring, assurance and testing of the control environment and prepare reports of the results for the Head of Compliance, Group Executive Risk and Governance and the Board Audit and Risk Committee

Your story so far:

  • Proven experience in a Compliance Advisor role, with a preference for insurance, financial services or government sector experience
  • Strong capability in delivery of compliance training and experience embedding compliance frameworks
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
