  • Salary from $75,992 (CA) - $89,707 (CMS) + super pending experience & level

The opportunity:

Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same as a CMS or Claims Advisor you will:

  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and provide support in the completion of relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and provide a high level of customer service to all parties including workers, employers, providers, stakeholders, families and support networks.

  • Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with Injury Management Specialists and Technical Specialists and other technical and support experts.

 

Your story so far:

  • Experience in personal injury, life insurance or workers compensation – preferred but not essential
  • An understanding of the legislation and regulatory framework relevant to Workers Compensation 
  • Highly effective communication skills through various mediums such as verbal, written and visual and a proven ability to translate complex concepts to individuals and groups
  • Demonstrable experience of problem solving and bringing about problem resolution
